Geelong Disability Services Meal Preparation.
At Geelong Disability Services – GDS, our meal preparation service are provided by our specialy selected staff, who all have fully qualified disability provider and carer qualifications. Our disability providers and carers also have hospitality qualifications and are really good cooks as well.
These highly competent staff members can help with your meals starting from the planning stage and writing a shopping list, to doing the actual shopping with you or for you, right through to working with you to teach you skills to do your own cooking or if not possible, do the cooking for you doing.
Our main focus and goal is to make sure that your nutritional needs are met and the required amount of food for your body is provided to help you stay as healthy as possible. By including ‘good’ foods into a menu that will be enjoyed is the best way to achieve that goal.
Our meal preparation service starts from the planning stage, to writing a shopping list, to doing to the actual shopping
with you or for you, right through to doing the dishes and putting them away.
We can assist with the cooking or we can cook for you if required.
